FAQ

Do you supply alcohol?

No, we are unable to supply the alcohol due to California’s regulations and laws on mobile bars. This means we provide the equipment, consultation, coordination, disposables (if requested), and friendly beverage service. *Client is responsible for all alcohol purchases.

We do allow you to serve your own drinks or have your guests serve themselves, but in order to protect our equipment and to protect our customers from liability, some restrictions apply:
*a paid hourly TLD staff member must be onsite and act as an attendant to setup/ maintain/ and breakdown.
*purchase and show proof of “day-of” event insurance, with Tipsy Little Dove LLC listed as additional insured, 30 days prior to event.  Policy must include “host liquor liability” and general liability, which protects you in the case that an accident/incident happens.

We trust "The Event Helper" to protect our customers with Liquor Liability and General Liability for events.

Is Tipsy Insured?

You betcha! We carry General Liability and Liquor Liability insurance. However the policy only covers TLD employees. Not Self-Service or Independent Bartenders.

How do I secure my date? When is my final payment due?

We require a non-refundable 50% deposit to secure your date, then the rest is due 30 days prior to your event.

Unfortunately, due to our advanced booking model, we cannot accommodate cancellations due to rain. In the event of rain, we require an indoor location or tent provided by the client. We are happy to work with your tent vendor to find the appropriate sized tent.

How far will Tipsy travel?

We will travel anywhere in the Central Valley and surrounding cities. The base delivery fee is $85. There is a $2 per mile charge, both ways, for delivery outside 30 miles from our warehouse in Fresno, Ca.

Do you have a rain policy?

How does self-service work?

Can Tipsy be indoors?

Yes! She can go anywhere she safely can fit. Dimensions for Tipsy are about 9’L x 5’W x 6’H.  She can fit through most double doors and into most freight elevators!

Is gratuity for pour service included in your fees?

We believe that gratuity should be at your discretion and based on the quality of service, which is why we do not include it in your invoice total. Our bar staff will have a tip jar available during your event, but if you prefer not to have one, you can choose to pay a 20% buyout fee.
